Tullow Oil expects average oil production this year from the Jubilee and TEN fields offshore Ghana to increase to around 179,000 b/d in total.

Last years development drilling program involved the use of two rigs operating in tandem across both fields, with results from the well in some cases exceeding pre-drill expectations.

At Jubilee, two new producer wells were drilled and completed, and an existing water injection well was also completed.

Two new producers and one new water injector were drilled at TEN. The first new producer, NT05-P, has been onstream since last August and the second, EN10-P, is currently being completed and should be online in February.

This year the company expects to drill and complete seven new wells across the two fields.

Offshore Guyana will be the focus for Tullows exploration drilling in 2019, beginning with a well on the Jethro prospect in 2Q, the first of two planned wells on the Orinduik block.

During 3Q it plans to drill the Carapa prospect on the Kanuku license.

Tullow will also commission geophysical surveys on its acreage in Cte dIvoire, offshore the Comoros, and other assets off West Africa.
